1、 The function of the swing motor

Specifically, the upper part of an excavator includes components such as a swing platform, swing motor, and swing mechanism. The swing motor drives the swing mechanism, allowing the upper part of the excavator to swing left and right.
2、 Working principle of swing motor
The swing motor adopts a hydraulic drive method, which converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy and transmits power to the swing mechanism through a hydraulic transmission device, causing it to rotate. Specifically, the swing motor contains multiple plungers, cylinder bodies, and gears. When hydraulic oil flows into the swing motor from the oil pump, the plungers are subjected to hydraulic pressure and move towards the cylinder body, driving the gears to rotate and thus driving the rotary mechanism to swing.
